User & Role Management

Invite users, assign roles, and manage permissions across your workspace.

Overview

B6AI uses role-based access control. Every user has a role whose permissions determine what they can see and do. You manage people under Teams and their roles under Roles & Permission. Assign the least-privileged role that fits.

Who manages this
Managing agents, departments and roles requires an Enterprise Admin (or a role granted the relevant permissions).

Inviting agents

  1. Open Teams in the left navigation.
  2. Click Invite and enter the person’s email.
  3. Choose their role and, if applicable, their department.
  4. Send the invite; they set a password and complete setup through the sign-in flow.

Built-in roles

B6AI ships with these roles. Each maps to a set of permissions.

RoleAccess
Enterprise AdminFull access: teams, roles, integrations, billing, bots, analytics and settings.
Agent AdminManage bots and agents; oversee Chats, routing and canned responses.
AgentHandle live conversations in Chats and work Tickets.

Roles & permissions

Open Roles & Permission to review each role’s permissions and, where your plan allows, define custom roles scoped to exactly the permissions a group needs. Nav items and actions across B6AI appear only when the user’s role grants the matching permission.

Departments & teams

In Teams, group agents into departments so conversations can be routed to the right group (routing and the Handover to Agent node can target a department) and reporting can be sliced by team.

Deactivating agents

Deactivate a user in Teams to immediately revoke their access while keeping their history intact for reporting and audit.

Off-boarding
Deactivate promptly when someone leaves, and review who holds the Enterprise Admin role regularly.
